Physical fitness is the first requisite of happiness. In order to achieve happiness, it is imperative to gain mastery of your body. If at the age of 30 you are stiff and out of shape, you are old. If at 60 you are supple and strong then you are young.’  Josef Hubertus Pilates

No matter of your age or your fitness level you can participate in one of our Pilates courses. Which are all taught by highly qualified teachers and in small groups so to ensure that the perfect form is kept.

Pilates can be beneficial for virtually all ages, fitness levels and body conditions. With regular committed Pilates workouts you can expect to amongst other things, improve strength, flexibility and balance. Tone and build long, lean muscles without bulk. Challenge deep abdominal muscles to support the core.

Our courses are set over a period of time to ensure you progress correctly and safely. Please contact us for the start of the next course, which would suit you.

I qualified as a fitness instructor and swimming coach over 8 years ago with my main focus on cardio workouts.

After several injuries and surgeries I focused my attention on Pilates and qualified two years ago as a Level 3 Pilates instructor mainly as a way to keep myself mobile and fit whilst I recovered. I added extra qualifications to enable me to instruct a wide range of people - I teach Pre and postnatal classes, older adults, as well as teenagers and all benefit from Pilates.

Pilates has made me realise that fitness is more than just one dimensional. I believe it connects mind and body and focuses your attention on how to move using your core muscles correctly so every move you make either in a fitness class, gym or general life is made easier because of what you learn in a Pilates.

My Pilates class is inviting, personal and waiting for you to start your journey.

Ann Hooper Smith

Having spent many years as a school teacher working with children aged 4-12, I have found it very interesting & rewarding to work with adults who are keen to improve their lives through their knowledge of Pilates.

I personally benefitted from Pilates having suffered from years of back problems after having two children and in 2001 decided to train as an Instructor.

I now get tremendous satisfaction from working with people to help them to incorporate Pilates principles into their daily lives and use my teaching experience and communication skills to ensure that participants really enjoy their classes, have fun and progress.

I am passionate about the benefits of Pilates - it should be a part of everyone's exercise regime because it works

Yoga has been a passion of mine since I was 24, I have practiced to manage migraine, to help me through pregnancy and childbirth and to free myself from the stresses and strains we all experience in today’s fast paced world. Whilst I have been practicing for many years and am now a Yoga Alliance RYT200, you do not need to have lots of experience to join my classes. I teach in an inclusive manner, offering options to lighten or deepen your practice irrelevant of your experience, so that you feel nourished, stretched, relaxed and balanced by the end of class. I use doTERRA essential oils and tranquil music to enhance your experience, as well as breathing exercises, mudra and mantra. I will try to help you use your time in class to go deep inside, nurturing your soul and connecting with your true Self so that you can live with more ease and less dis-ease. I hope that you will develop skills which you can take into your everyday life, helping you to support those around you and live with presence, awareness, humility, compassion and kindness. My classes are friendly, welcoming and for all, I look forward to meeting you soon.

I have been active most of my life mainly through competitive running. In 1991 I qualified with the YMCA as a fitness trainer and in 2003 qualified as a Pilates teacher level 3 with modern Pilates. I so enjoyed this ' other side' of fitness, improving posture through muscle tone, flexibility, core strength and joint mobility, that I qualified as a level 4 teacher a few years later. It suits all ages and fitness levels as its a gentle low impact form of exercise with precise movements to target specific parts of the body and can be adapted. Combined with aerobic work I think you have the perfect balance in a personal fitness regime.

I have worked in fitness for 22 years now and have been teaching Pilates for over 20 of them.  I also teach yoga and other fitness classes, but Pilates is my real passion.  I never tire of it – I just love it more and more and find that I am continually learning and developing even after all these years.  I am always also learning from my participants and it’s a lovely journey to be on with them as they enjoy their Pilates practice, strengthen their bodies and find beautiful posture and body awareness.  I have now returned to the UK permanently but have just spent 3 years teaching Pilates and yoga in Australia, which was a wonderful experience.  I also taught Pilates for a year in Dubai.

I now work mainly in London and am thrilled to be part of Lotta’s team here!

I am also a Tutor, Assessor and Mentor in Pilates.  I have the privilege of taking those beginning on their Pilates teaching journey to Master Diploma – so I guess I am training the next generation!

My focus is on a balanced approach to exercise which helps people look and feel healthier, stronger, and more self-confident. I love working with clients and seeing the fantastic results they achieve often in such a short time.  It gives me real pleasure to see the difference exercise makes to people, not only in their body shape but in their self-confidence.

I have taught group fitness since qualifying in exercise to music in 2000. Following an Achilles injury in 2005 I decided to train in Pilates and then my lifelong passion for Yoga led me to gaining my teaching diploma from the British Wheel of Yoga in 2009. Through individual attention and blending the precision of Pilates with the versatility of Yoga I teach people how to develop body mind awareness, restore physical and mental balance and release obstructions within the body.

Eileen Fraser

I have worked in the fitness industry for over 20 years. First trained in Exercise to Music then went on to become a gym instructor with the YMCA.

To increase my knowledge in all aspects of health and well-being, I then went on to City University where I gained a Post Graduate Diploma in Exercise and Health Behaviour.

10 years ago I qualified as a Level 3 Pilates teacher and I believe passionately that Pilates is a crucial part of any fitness regime. In 2005 I became a qualified Nutritional Consultant as healthy eating and good nutrition is also fundamental to a healthy and holistic lifestyle.
